It's murderously hot almost monsoon season that makes people do crazy things to escape the heat. Like walking through the freezer section of a store looking for things that just aren't there.
Or driving 600 miles just because the air conditioning in the car is so delicious. Cutting a pair of pants up because you don't own any shorts. Cutting off all your hard earned hair. (So tempting. Mike, you might want to take all the scissors and the hair clippers with you to work today.) Getting a hotel room, just for the swimming pool, and then laying on the bed with the AC blasting, watching horrible day time TV. I may be looking forward to hanging out in the dentist's chair for 2 hours on Wednesday JUST BECAUSE they have good air conditioning.
One day, you may find me in the freezer section of a grocery store in BC with no hair and short pants. Or maybe at the hotel. Mumbling about how hot I am.
